 Usha
Usha is a calm, collected person who thinks a bit too much of himself. He has a sort of a teacher complex – even if he’s with friends, he’s prone to start lecturing them on the world’s mysteries. If you listen closely, you’ll realise that the things he says and the stories he tells have a deep meaning. But since his speeches tend to be long, most Hoodians get bored of them easily.
Usha can usually be found in the Great Plains, playing with birds. During his years on the Neverhood, he learnt their language. He befriended a glider bird called David, who can grab Usha’s shoulders with his claws and glide through the air carrying him. When other Hoodians saw this, they wanted Usha to teach them how to do it as well. Naturally, Usha obliged. Since then he’s been giving lessons on the bird language, and to those who excelled, also on flying.
Usha’s power over the air includes moving it at will (creating bubbles of vacuum or tornadoes, you name it) and changing solid and liquid klay to gas. His Auro gives him a pair of white wings. He doesn’t use it often, because then other Hoodians would want them too.
